Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between couples therapy and individual therapy?

Couples therapy focuses on the relational patterns and attachment dynamics that are specific to your shared history. Individual therapy provides a space to explore your own nervous system responses, attachment needs, and personal growth in a safe, one-on-one environment.

How long are the sessions and how often do we meet?

Couples sessions typically last 90 minutes to 2 hours while Individual sessions are 60 to 90 minutes long. We work together to find a cadence that is sustainable for your relationship and your personal needs.

What is PACT and how does it help us?

PACT is a relational therapy approach that focuses on the nervous system and the way we respond to each other's emotional needs. It helps us move from a state of disconnection to one of repair and emotional safety, allowing us to address the core issues that keep us in conflict.

Can we work on ADHD-related relationship challenges?

Yes, I am trained in somatic approaches and trauma-informed therapy, which are particularly effective for addressing the nervous system responses that often accompany ADHD. We can work together to create a more grounded and predictable relational environment.

How do we know if therapy is right for us?

Therapy is a collaborative process. If you are looking for a way to understand recurring conflict, emotional disconnection, or attachment difficulties, we can explore whether a professional relational approach is the right next step for your specific situation.
